Presets 1–3 (slider max 3; type 4+ in the number box to override). Sliders: crews · depth · driveways · base min/pass (10–20). Same row shows ST / OT hours + labor $. Assumptions at the bottom.
Clock hours = actual time on the clock from start to finish for one crew. Crew hours = clock hours × number of people on the crew.
Driveways per workday. The 1 crew column is the per-crew figure; 2 and 3 crews are that same number × 2 or × 3.

On-demand pricing capacity check: compares your driveway book to how many crews can finish in one 10-hour straight-time day. Pace rows show slowest (20 min/driveway = 3/hour) through fastest (10 min). 1 crew / day is the per-crew figure; Your crews is that × your crew count. If it says driveways over one-day capacity, you need another day — that number is driveways short, not hours.
The bottom row is your pace from snow depth: it uses the depth band’s pass count × base minutes per pass (from the sliders), not the fixed one-pass 20 / 15 / 10 min paces above. Deeper snow → more passes → slower drv/hour → lower one-day capacity.
| Pace | 1 crew / day (= per crew) | Your crews (1-crew × N) | Driveways vs one-day capacity | Days needed |

From Jason’s agreement. Auto route at ≥ trigger depth. 2″ clears only if customer requests (call-out premium +$200).
Storm count + mix rebased on NOAA NCEI 1991–2020 Front Royal (USC00443229): 21.1″/yr, ~2.8 days ≥3″ → 3 billable auto-route storms; Winchester area ~23.1″/yr. Mix skewed light (most clears 0–8″; ≥10″ rare). CPC 2026–27 strong El Niño: Mid-Atlantic leans wetter + warmer — context only, not a snowfall forecast.
Total crew-hours = driveways ÷ drv/hr. Clock hours per crew = total ÷ crews; each crew has 2 people who work that SAME clock, so clock hours = hours EACH person works. OT starts after 40 clock hours for that crew (= 40h for EACH person) — not 20h each and not a flat total across the fleet. Split storm hours equally: clockPerCrew = totalCrewHrs / crews; stRoom = max(0, weekOtLimit − weekHrsBefore) per crew clock / per person; stPerCrew = min(clockPerCrew, stRoom); otPerCrew = max(0, clockPerCrew − stPerCrew); fleet ST/OT = those × crews. Depth only adds hours via more passes; crews affect clock hours, capacity, tractor rent (all rented @ $200 each), and the ST/OT split. Example: 90 crew-hrs / 3 crews = 30h clock each → 30h for EACH person and ALL straight time (0 OT). Example: 2 crews × 40 clock hours = 80 ST crew-hours before OT; this is NOT a single flat 40 across the fleet.
Every 4 inches of snow = one full pass. Bands plan at the top (0–4→4″, 4–8→8″, 8–12→12″, …) so costs cover the worst case in that band. Example: 8–12″ plans as 12″ → 3×15 = 45 min/drv → 1.33/hr → ~13.3 drv/crew-day @ 10h.
| Depth band | Plans as | Passes | At 15 min base | Drv/hr |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0–4″ | 4″ | 1 | 15 min | 4.0 |
| 4–8″ | 8″ | 2 | 30 min | 2.0 |
| 8–12″ | 12″ | 3 | 45 min | 1.33 |
| 12–16″ | 16″ | 4 | 60 min | 1.0 |
| 16–20″ | 20″ | 5 | 75 min | 0.8 |
| 20–24″ | 24″ | 6 | 90 min | 0.67 |
Slowest 3/hr (20 min) → fastest 6/hr (10 min) → typical 4.5/hr (15 min). At 10h one crew: 30 / 60 / 45 driveways.
Band rates (Jason): 0–4 $65/$75 · 4–8 $85/$95 · 8–12 $115/$125 · 12–16 $155/$175 · 16–20 $195/$215 · 20–24 $235/$255 (each +4″ adds $40 each size). Default daily revenue = all two-car rates; optional 10% three-car toggle near KPIs. Band switch always recalculates $/drv × driveways. Tractor = $200 × every crew (all rented; own 0).
OT = 1.5× on per-person clock hours past the weekly threshold (default 40; a 2-person crew shares the same clock; not after 10h/day; not a combined flat total). Auto service ≥ 3″; 2″ only on customer request (call-out premium +$200). Season Inputs uses mix-weighted average passes (not flat 1.25). No salt. Four-inch price bands only. Season labor is straight-time crew-hours (no weekly OT split).
